Bec is the founder and heart behind Mini Mindfulness. She started her journey working with children straight from education, completing a Level 3 Diploma before studying for a BA in Education and Early Years.
With a background in nurseries, support roles and local council positions, Bec qualified as a Primary Teacher and spent 7 years working in mainstream classrooms, with children aged 4-11 years. Whilst working in education, she led on several PSHE curriculums and had oversight on the mental health curriculum in Early Years.
With a growing passion in emotional well-being, Bec now works for the UKs leading children's mental health charity.
Passionate about providing a space to nurture and develop children's emotional well-being, Mini Mindfulness was born. Fundamentally, Bec's passion is to ensure that children are carefully delivered tools to be lifelong emotionally aware learners, through fun, playful and imaginative yoga and mindfulness; something which she feels is often over-looked in the primary classroom.
For our children to be secure and 'ready to learn', we must support them with the tools to feel calm, confident and connected.
